January

Well, what's happening here.... I think we have largely been in this month. It has seemed a bit crazy. I think Braet and CC are the only ones who have stayed well, fevers, coughs, snotty noses and lots of head colds- what everyone else is dealing with his time of year. The snow, lots of rain and even 60 degrees. I don't know about you but I am sure ready for spring now :) Although I am so looking forward to celebrating a lil princess' bday very soon , her request a purple Hello Kitty party. Yes she also wants a real kitty for her bday, sorry sweetie that isn't going to happen! But dear friends gave her an early gift and wouldn't you know a small stuffed animal- Hello Kitty- she has slept with it each night! Well that's us, we are hibernating for now and we hope to emerge soon!

Kelz

So our lil miss is always keeping us on our toes and cleaning up after her discoveries.... Today writing on newly painted walls-ahhhh and here's a good one: I came downstairs to find her face covered with chocolate and a protein bar in her hand. So I asked her who gave it to her. Her reply, "Uhh.... Mater (our dog!) - yeah priceless, right!

A few of my favorite things...

Braet and CC have begun practicing for their Christmas piano recital. I know Christmas music before Thanksgiving!! But I must confess that I love it :)

Also after starting the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the summer of 2011, Braet has finished the trilogy. Way to go!

Look who's getting Big!!

     Owey is now 6th months, 2 teeth and a whole lot of personality! He can sit up all by himself and he desperately wants to get going but hasn't mastered the crawl yet! Cianne makes him laugh, Kelz makes him cry :) ( its true- her love is a bit smothering!) and Braet cares for him so well. All in all they are a great entourage!

Our annual walk together. It was a beautiful fall day at the harbor. I wish I had taken more pics this year but it was so nice to be together remember and celebrating Rita. Missing her!

Happy Candy

     So I dare say my kiddos love Halloween. It encompasses 2 of their favorite things: playing dress up and candy!! For days after Halloween once it had gotten dark Mikelle wanted to go trick or treat, she was hoping for more yummies from our neighbors! The girls were fairies, Owey was a lion ( that both Braet and Micah wore- very sweet for me) and Braet was Legolas. He is such a Lord of the Rings fan. So it was the perfect choice for him. He has nearly finished the the Return of the King, the last book in the series which he started last year- way to go lil man!
     We are still getting rid of candy here. I'd like to make it disappear!! But don't tell my kiddos!
