Christmas Eve PJ's & Jam Session
Merry Christmas
Dear Friends & Family,
It is with a heart full of joy and thankfulness that I write this Christmas letter. This has been a “wild and amazing” year for sure! But God is good, always faithful and very present with each and every step...in our valleys, through our fears, tears, long nights, pain, prayers and with each moment of rejoicing.
As most of you know, a large mass was found in Micah’s brain on Jan 16, 2006. Hence a new chapter began~ After surgery, it was determined to be a very rare and aggressive childhood tumor, ATRT. With survival chances very slim we began chemo in Feb. and by the grace of God finished in July.
In the midst of this journey, our daughter, Cianne Dawn, arrived on May 8th. She decided to arrive almost a month early and I went into labor while at Children’s Hospital.
What a blessing these children are and how we have been enjoying our “Mike’s a Million”. Our threesome keep us all on our toes and we are grateful for all the memories we are making as a family. Braeton is the very proud, responsible big brother. He is excited starting school at home this year and doing well with Micah copying right along. Cianne at seven months beams for the camera as she shows off her two bottom teeth and
The Davis’ and Miller’s came through winter, spring, summer and just so fall was not left out, Dad underwent double bypass surgery in October. He has been healing remarkably well and has been able to enjoy special times with the kiddos during his recuperation.
Cameron is finishing up finals here the week before Christmas and Brandon continues to work hard in his position at church...both are ready for the Christmas holiday! These two have been a great support in helping out with the little ones this year and it is always a lot of fun watching the big boys and little boys wrestle together.
Mom & Dad have been great in the way there have served us here at home! What more can we say! We have been cared for by so many!
It is amazing to recount all that God has done for us this year and what we are more aware of then ever is:
Every breath is a miracle, God is always faithful, His mercies are new every morning, His love and
All our Love!
