Hi Friends,
Luke & I went to Children's yesterday morning and Micah had his spinal tap, which went better then we were expecting! Thank the Lord! What a brave little guy he is. He even got to pick out a toy from the treasure chest. The results for this test will be back by Monday. The doctors expect the results to be negative (meaning no cancer in his spine). However, they now believe the area in his brain to be tumor after the chief radiologist reviewed it. This news is of course, a blow to our hearts. We have cried much the last two days as we think of the implications and we have prayed all the more. Micah continues to go around the house singing his favorite song...
My God is so great
So Strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God can not do - for you
The mountains are His
The Rivers are His
The stars are his handiwork too
My God is so great
So Strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God can not do - for You!
Lord make us like him! We would appreciate your prayers for strength, as are hearts feel very weak. For healing that when they redo Micah's MRI next week they find nothing but normal healthy brain. For wisdom, there will be decisions to be made as they are again suggesting focal radiation as the have told us that radiation is the last tool they have.
The doc and workers - that seems funny to say-- our friends at Children's have been so generous, gentle and kind in the way they have cared for us.
How are we doing--- We are well-- we are sad, we are joyful. The emotional range has been vast, our joy is intense and sweet as we play , pray and sing with our little ones. Our sorrow is also intense, yet we are seeking to take time, there is grace for each new day. We do not know the path for this family and our emotions are up and down but we do know God is faithful, he loves our Micah more than we ever could, he is steady and his truth unchanging, his help, care and goodness constant.
Thank You for being with us, for sticking with us through this long journey. Your email, prayers and cards have all been so encouraging to our hearts!!
With Love to All

Psalm 86:5-7"For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace. In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me."
