So there is much editing to be done and much catch up to be had. I've started many drafts in the last few years that have never made it to the front page and well I had hoped to jump back in with something profound. (Good luck with that!!) But truth be told the last few years have been tough for me personally and while God has been steadily quietly meeting me. I feel as if I have not had much capacity other than to care for our lil family. So I'll just jump in feet first with a funny story and lil update.
Story:
Our darling firecracker, Mikelle, is 2 years old and it has only been in the last few months that she has started sleeping through the night once again. She is our wander, climber and mischef maker. A bit ago Braet woke me up in the middle of the night with Kelz in tow. Dazed and a bit confused he had woke up to a lil "bed bug," (who climbed he bunk bed ladder-) picking his nose and then she preceded to pick hers!!! Oh this kid, she makes you wanna laugh and cry!
Update:
Hey All,
Thanks for your prayers for me and the family. The "bug" has finally passed and the last few days have been good health wise. My contractions has dramatically lessened which is a huge answer to prayer and am now able to do some small tasks (ie fold clothes, make cereal in the morning, light cleaning-Don't look at the floors! - you know the basics =) to care for the family. I had a doc appt yesterday and have been cleared for small amounts of driving- YAHHHH- while I can't shop-LOVE Amazon!- I can run Braet to classes again. I am so grateful for that!
I would have never chosen bed rest but God is sure using my limitations in our fam. The kids have def stepped up to plate- now sure its bumpy but Braet is making meals and serving his sisters in ways that have done small wonders for their relationship. Things Luke and I had talked about that we were hoping for growth in- in ourselves and the kiddos, the Lord has provided a small (small only in comparison - it was a rough first few week for me =) trial as a platform. Im learning much- its not really been pretty but there have sure been some sweet moments that busy life and full capacity hadn't afforded. And while I do look forward to this season coming to an end (2 weeks baby!!!) I am also hoping for more sweetness with the fam and hopefully growth.
By the way thanks for making this so much easier!! Meals, texts, emails, prayers, chats have been great-, company and encouragement for me,keeping me connected to the outside world =) Mom and Luke have been super!!! They can clean like crazy fast and have been doing pretty much well- Everything! Brandon can work magic with leftovers, Mark & Jenny are a great delivery service- they pick up kids too =) and Dad could use a lil bus- he'll do any errand you could want- kids or groceries!
Seriously thank you all. Looking forward to introducing our new lil man soon
Much Love & Appreciations
